For Beverly Hills residents, Dr. Dan Shaer's studio is close to home: Smile Boutique Beverly Hills occupies Suite 505A at 8500 Wilshire Blvd., on the Beverly Hills side of La Cienega Boulevard. This page is a practical guide to the visit itself, from the route in to what happens once you are inside.
Everything in the studio is built around planning. Your smile is mapped with digital scans and photos, designed before any treatment begins, and previewed so you can see the plan and ask for changes. That first consultation is the most important hour of the process, so it helps to arrive relaxed and on time.
Getting here from central Beverly Hills
From Beverly Hills City Hall on Rexford Drive, the drive is about 1.8 miles. The most direct route heads east on West 3rd Street, turns south on Doheny Drive and then runs east on Wilshire Boulevard to 8500 Wilshire.
From the Golden Triangle and Rodeo Drive, Wilshire Boulevard itself is the simplest way in: stay on Wilshire heading east and the building is just before the La Cienega intersection.
By Metro
If you would rather leave the car at home, the Wilshire/La Cienega station on the Metro D Line opened in May 2026 and is about a block from the building, roughly 200 meters on foot.

What is near the studio
The studio is surrounded by places most Beverly Hills residents already know. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is about three quarters of a mile to the north, and the Beverly Center is roughly the same distance up La Cienega.
If you are pairing your appointment with errands, Rodeo Drive is about a mile and a half to the west, close enough to plan a consultation and a lunch on the same afternoon.
The building is on the edge of the Beverly Hills flats, where the city meets Los Angeles along La Cienega. That makes it equally reachable from homes north of Santa Monica Boulevard and from the residential streets south of Wilshire, with no freeway involved.

Planning treatment close to home
Being nearby makes multi-visit treatments easier to fit into a week. Porcelain veneers and smile makeovers usually involve a consultation, a design and preview appointment, and then preparation and delivery visits. Dental implants and All-On-4 treatment involve planning, placement and follow-up over several months.
Whichever treatment you are considering, the first step is the same: a consultation where Dr. Dan examines your teeth, takes scans and explains your options honestly.
Living a few minutes away also helps with follow-up. Small refinements after veneers, a check on an implant crown or a quick question about your retainer are easy to fit around a normal day when the studio is this close.
